Thank goodness for a flexible series title. Behold, the first Poems for Your Week (to complement poems for your midweek and weekend). Think of it as an extra dose of Monday mindfulness as we prepare for the demands ahead.
I’ve spent the last few weeks near bodies of water. If you live near the ocean or a lake, does it ever not astonish you? I can’t imagine I would ever get tired of it. I think of Virginia Woolf’s description of the sky as a gigantic cinema. I love how water captures and reflects it, their joint interpretation of the weather.
